The 11 Finger Lakes, deep glacier-cut lakes located in the center of New York State, comprise one of the most scenic and unspoiled areas in the world. Hillsides carpeted with vineyards, more than 80 wineries, hundreds of inns and B&Bs, hiking and biking trails, open meadows and farmlands, along with sophisticated neat lakeside villages provide a respite from hectic lives.

Take a scenic cruise on one of the lakes, picnic near the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi, sail or waterski in the cobalt waters and camp along the shores where the Indians once lived.
