About The Author.....
Katharine Dyson
Having
grown up in the Finger Lakes and living more than half my life there,
I have a deep passion for the region. As a travel & golf writer, I
had the unique opportunity to research and write a book about the
Finger Lakes and Romantic Resorts. Spending more than a year driving around each lake,
I stopped at everything remotely of interest —checking out
places to stay, eat and shop; museums, art galleries, and events.
Along the way I met many wonderful people. And I'm still doing it.
When I'm not in the Finger Lakes, I am on the road pursuing my travel writing career which take me all over the world from Africa to Europe to South America. Returning to the Finger Lakes always brings me immense pleasure to know I am home in a place that is as beautiful as any I have visited.
